Friday, June 29th, 2007

My big sis was planning to visit later in the year, the impending birth of her first Grandchild may put that on the back burner for a wee while. So if you want a flavour of wha Tasmania is like go to http://www.blue-rocket.com.au/explore.html , you may need to do some resarch about tourist sites to […]

Australia hit 21 million people this week.
That’s up a million since I arrived.
In the last 2 weeks we have added 2 Australians to the house and the country.
Jen and Wee Hamish were let out on Wednesday lunchtime, I’d managed to arrange a training day to suit so I was there to collect them heart bursting […]

Friday, June 22nd, 2007

The bed was empty next to me.
Fungus snoring softly somewhere in the room wasn’t the reason I was awake so early.
Today was the day!

to find Jenny being wheeled out of her room.
I was […]

2 tonnes of gravel wheelbarrowed through bush and into place,
2 Huge plastic water tanks manhandled into place,
20 cubic metres of Earth carted in for […]

¶ False alarm?

Sunday, June 10th, 2007

We’re in the “Crying Wolf” stages of Jenny’s pregnancy.
We were invited out to dinner on the far side of the city on Saturday so as
we didn’t have to cook after a long day painting the new walls of the babies room.
Full of food and good cheer we arrived back around midnight to a warm house,
lighting […]

¶ Bang Bang Crash Bang

Saturday, June 2nd, 2007

Kerry our builder arrived on Monday to start the build of the baby’s room with his sidekick Dave.
Within a couple of days the stud walls flew up ready for the plasterboard.
“When is the Electrician coming?” asked Kerry…………….
Stunned silence…….
“What for?”
“To move the plugs and lights”
“Ermmmm…..Ermmmmm”
The next 12 hours were frantic searching trying to find a spark […]
